A Poem a Day: a Series – Day 76

Day 76: “Dentist Diaries”

Ok, I’m not one to be afraid to go to the dentist

But as I was sitting there

Getting my gums scraped raw

And my teeth picked at like a vulture picking the bones clean of roadside vermin

I couldn’t help but think,

“I get it”
