A Poem a Day: a Series – Day 119

Day 119: “Melt the ICE”

It’s frigid out

We don’t need any more ICE

Making it more dangerous

More slippery

More deadly

We need the sun

The people

To gather

To melt it all

With their body heat

Then we can walk again

On steady ground

Warm and safe

Without fear

of falling
