Day 224: “Rollercoaster”
The spectrum of human emotion
Is vast
Exhausting
Sometimes it makes me want to pull up the covers
And turn out the lights
As if sleep
will magically transform my mindset
Which I will say
does often work
Until the next time
My hair is whipping in the wind
as the rollercoaster goes barreling down the tracks

No one knows anything
So why do I expect myself
To know everything
Day 206: “Overwhelming Turn of Events”
Today was overwhelming
So overwhelming I overflowed
I freaked out
Hit a wall
Cried
My partner held me
I talked it out
Now I feel much better

I need to follow a schedule
I need to find a system
I want to write
I want to relax
I have to work
I have to work out
I need to cook
I want to rest
I want to read
I sit and stare
I sit and scroll
There’s a lot going on at the moment
